Club Staff and Facilities

THE CLUBHOUSE

Custom designed with members and guests in mind, Maple Dale clubhouse is a distinctive facility of over 16,000 square feet, capable of accommodating several functions of various sizes simultaneously. A tasteful blend of luxury and informality serves as a focal point for Club activities. Banquet rooms are available to accommodate any size social or business engagement. Two separate bars add to the pleasure of private events. An outdoor deck and covered terrace make this an ideal spot for members and guests to congregate and relax.

Clubhouse facilities also include large locker rooms for men and women, a card room and an abundance of dedicated spaces, to support Club operations.

Seasonal social events and dances, several bridge groups, outdoor barbecues, and picnics provide attractive alternatives for members.

THE COURSE

Maple Dale was established in 1925 as a three-hole course and expanded to nine holes in the mid-30’s. After relocating in 1969, it was enlarged to a full 18 holes and now offers a mature course set amidst a wooded terrain, dotted with various ponds.

This USGA championship rated 18 hole golf course is challenging and fun. It is a beautiful layout and very easy to walk. There are seven different tee boxes of yardages to fit all players abilities to have a great day on the links. Maple Dale has hosted Delaware Amateurs, High School State Championships, Special Olympics State Tournaments and PGA Junior League Regional Championship. Also, MDCC is the home of the Delaware State Women’s Golf Team.

THE GRILLE ROOM

Relax in the Members’ Grille before or after a round of golf, for quick lunch or stay for dinner. It is always a great meeting place after the round for cold drinks and delicious food.
